If You are planning to Give The Higher Education Dental Exams Like NEET / NBDE / Gulf countries exams then you need the answer to some very crucial questions that will arise before you. We will go through those questions in this article.
#1. WHICH ALL BOOKS NEED TO BE DONE ?
- Now there are lot many and will be posting a separate story for it , so let’s not go in to depth. Yes .. many people do tell you to read theory.. but believe me , if you are sincere in attending internship.. then you hardly have time for it.. but if you have taken a break after internship then do it.. its important to join coaching if you take a break because you need constant force to move ahead in this dark path of entrance so that you can reach the light at the end.
- Another crucial thing which you should remember is to get all new editions of the books so that you don’t mug up the wrong answers and you miss out any new question.
#2. WHICH ALL EXAMS SHOULD I GIVE ?
As per the latest regulations in India there is going to one single exam NEET that will regulate the admission to all the post graduate MDS seats.
In the last system, in the exam season there were a lot of exams of different colleges to get the entry in to MDS/Post graduate colleges. But now the scenario will be completely changed.
There will be a single NEET Exam and you must have a good day and score well in it. There are no multiple exams to fall back on, if one of the exams did not go well.

#3. CAN I PREPARE FOR ENTRANCE ALONG WITH WORKING IN CLINIC ?
- Now.. There are few great people who are born intelligent .. I am not one them.. but I do believe in one thing.. Always give ur 100%.. It’s better to give your best attempt now rather than thinking why I gave only 99%.. Yes that does mean a lot of risk for one,,, but LIFE IS ALL ABOUT TAKING RISK .. nothing is easy..
- Preparing for entrance with that BIG QUESTION MARK !! FUTURE is risky,, but you really can’t sail in two boats at a time. The decision is based on how much work you have done in your UG and how much a MDS is imp for you.. I leave the decision to you..
#4. MY DAD HAS LOT OF MONEY,, SHOULD I TAKE A MANAGEMENT OR READ FOR ENTRANCE?
We are not going to judge any one in this point. Until last year there were management quota seats that were available for students who were able to pay the high fees.
But from Next year onwards, Management Quota seats are no more. All the admissions will be on the basis of the marks secured in the NEET exam. So, whether a student has a lot of financial backing or not, it doesn’t matter. He/She 1st Needs to Qualify the NEET and then go through the counselling process to get a MDS/Post graduate seat based on the marks secured.
The happiness that one aspirant gets from clearing entrance , only he can know it … others can just estimate the level of satisfaction . But to get that fruit one needs heart of steel and determination as high as Everest . So you are the best person to judge if you have the courage to prepare and prepare with all ur life and soul.

The Question of
What About My Boyfriend / Girlfriend ?
#5. WHAT ABOUT MY GIRL FRIEND/ BOY FRIEND 🙂
- Someone did ask me this question when he read my first blog … I did advise him not to fall in love during entrance prep.. Another guy even reacted strongly saying few true words .. “love just happens…. But keeping that fact apart, I am really not against it.. you need know the value & timing of each things in life.. I just want convey you one message.. its damn difficult to find a partner who understands the importance of these days.
- I never said not to fall in love before or after entrance preparation day.. but if you have found a girl/boy who really supports you in these days and may be who is also trying for entrance prep then I guess you have found the one.. best of luck in this matter. As u know no one can decode matters related to heart .

How to Mark the Answers in Exams
#6.THE BIG QUESTION!! HOW TO MARK THE ANSWERS?
Follow rule of 4 for answering any paper..!!
1st rule– Around 50% of questions in any exams almost repeated from either textbooks or MCQ books.. so always answer those first. If your preparation is really good then by the time you read the first 2 words of the question, you will come to know that the question is repeated.. but if you feel that it’s not a repeated one, then don’t waste time in reading and trying to find answer. Just skip it..
2nd rule– Rest 20 % questions are indirectly related to the old question.. here you need to spend bit little extra time so that you can find the answer ,, but if you really not getting the answer then this needs to be answered by the rule 3rd. but before that complete the 2nd round
3rd rule– This rule is for the difficult questions .. this really tests you… it can be only answered by the extra knowledge which you have gathered whole year.. these are quite new questions.. but still answerable.. its these question which decides whether you will be in those top ranks…
4th rule– This is for the exams which do not have negative marking—this completely depends on your luck and logic.. so try it on at the last,, So these rules should be followed one after another. That means.. 1st rule— complete the paper—apply 2nd—complete the round—then it goes on
The advantage of doing this , you will know the amount of right question you already answered by the time you finished the first 2- rounds.. and you won’t be spending much time in answering the difficult question.
Believe me ,,, when you follow this pattern then you will finish the papers in half of the time which is allotted. I have done that.. but Yeh.. it depends on the number of revisions which you have done too..because most of the entrance exam is memory based.
Try it.. it works !
#7. IS THERE ANY SPECIAL PREPARATION BEFORE EXAMS??
Yes !!!! It starts 10-15 days before exams . That’s the most crucial phase of your preparation, if you have worked hard through out the year.
No matter how many preparation you have done, there will be few subjects which you feel difficult.. so make sure you revise it 5-6 days before the exams.. and also make sure that you revise all the papers.
Revision is the key

What To DO one Day Before the Big Exam ?
#8. WHAT SHOULD BE DONE ONE DAY BEFORE EXAM ?
Hmmm.. Now you all should remember one thing when your at the entrance of an exam hall… Hard work always pays..
It’s not a single day which matters in life.. It’s the whole life which matters the most… So when it comes to entrance u all should remember that the final result depends on your one year hard work and not the last day.. but yehh.. last day is crucial too..
.. Medical Based papers are too difficult to remember.. especially when you mug the question from the different subjects which hardly goes deep into your head .. so one day before you need to revise at least the question papers which are most likely to come always.. so do it, you don’t have to read the explanation and all.. but you should at least remember the questions and answers.
And yes… chillllllll.. your brain needs rest .. so make sure you sleep well, laugh and give the best attempt at full concentration of yours… hope is what matters at the end …
All the great people in the history and present era worked with a goal in target, working consistently every day and without worrying much about the end result. They just worried about working/utilising every day to the best.
